Scanning Pens’ C-Pen Reader 2 has been lucky enough to take home the prestigious Teach Primary Awards. We’re honoured to be recognised by Teach Primary and to be a part of their wonderful lineup.

Reader 2, the UK’s most popular text-to-speech reading pen, placed at the top of the SEN category, awarded to resources and innovation specifically designed to support learners with Special Educational Needs. After a two-period spent learning in non-ideal conditions and dealing with the stresses of staff absences, a lack of access to in-person support and the general stresses of pandemic learning and remote education, SEN learners are one of the groups the most affected and demonstrate the most reading loss. We’re proud to be making a difference to learners with reading support that works.

Run by Teach Primary magazine, the Teach Primary Awards are designed to celebrate excellence in education support and to help educators seek out the very best when it comes to making sure the learners in their care have the very best of educational experiences.

With awards for an overall winner and commendations for all finalists. You can find out more about the other awards categories and shortlisted resources on Teach Primary’s website – there you can also find out lots more about the award.
